What this actually involves
Bath, blow-out, and a haircut cut to what you actually asked for rather than whatever is quickest. Nails, ears and sanitary area are part of every groom, not an upsell. Bring a photo if you have a look in mind, and tell Taylor about anything that makes grooming hard, a dog who hates the dryer, a sore hip, a bad experience somewhere else. She would rather work around it than fight through it.

- Can I bring a photo of the cut I want?
- Please do. A photo settles in five seconds what five minutes of describing will not. If the coat in front of her cannot hold that shape, she will say so before she starts rather than after.
- Are nails and ears extra?
- No. Nails, ears and the sanitary area are part of every groom. Nail grinding and scented shampoo are included too. They are on her consent form as included, not as add-ons.
- My dog hates the dryer. Is that a problem?
- Tell her before the appointment, not after. There are slower ways to dry a dog, and knowing in advance means she plans the appointment around it instead of discovering it mid-groom.
